Can only see so far but the stars Brilliant
Took my hits in the head, this world's spinning
This clay resilient, even if I'm the cracked pigeon
And I'm beaten by this off path I walk and keel to your dream
I know those minor amendments built on a grander scheme
Stopped trying to resurrect a land where ancestors be
Remember they caress my being, bless of breeze
Bend the trees, but also deliver seeds where they eventually
Rest in peace, lost brothers only so far above us
Lost sisters stirring up this broth of stardust
No proof but the puddings still sweet

Not trying to wine and dine my way into a wheel and deal
Just trying to eat these fruit, peal what's ill
Cherish every look at a star, where the canopy missed

Living under stardust, sipping on the sediment
Mind wander lust when I bring my lips to drink
See my spine in these planets that revolve
Even when I'm trying and can't understand at all..
Even when these patterns are just lies
Even if I can't see Saturn in the sky
Even if these naked eyes are hiding all in plain sight
It helps me stay alive

Bodies churned, kids pulled from homes to decompose
Amongst the ghosts, sullied to bone, reap their souls
Buried below beneath the soil of cold asylums
Settlers that brought new frontiers of violence
Children and words, they minced them alike
Tilling a curse that lived in our minds
Put us below, to look above at your glorious star
You laid siege, forced souls from broken kids starved
Purgatory, this dark, eye's weary with scars
